Thanks Dad G. for hooking us up with new can lights & thanks Jeff for hanging out in the attic for while.
Current state of my kitchen. Stay tuned for after pictures. New hickory cabinets going in this weekend and granite countertops next week! Woo-hoo! And my husband is doing all the work himself. You the man Jeff.

I feel a bit of envy looking at your kitchen...even in its "Before" status...it's so spacious! You've got as much storage in your kitchen as I do in our whole apartment.
I'm really liking the color (rustic red??) that's in your kitchen. I'm assuming that's the new color? Your old tile looks EXACTLY like the tile we had in our old house, circa 1968. How fun to redo it all!
